I had nothing else to do today until 10pm (Season finale of Law and Order) after I finished my one piece of homework, so I went out to actually apply for some summer jobs. I decided to get a job this year because:

A.) I want some extra money for me and college.
B.) If I work at an art store I can get discounts on art supplies for college.
C.) Everyone else is working this summer, so I'm getting a job so I'm not bored while eveyone else is working.

I asked Man to come with me, and we both headed out to do some jorb hunting. We went to Subway first to have some dinner, and got to talk to Rob and Alina for a bit. Then, our first stop was Michaels. We went into a classroom so I could sit and fill out the application. Here's the first conversation that followed:

Amy: *reading application* Okay, last name. First name. Middle name.
Me: *drops pen, rummages through purse, and pulls out cell phone. Pushes a couple buttons*
Amy: Wha? *confused, since it didn't ring.*
Me: *shoves phone at her* Play Tetris.

Heheh. ;)

After filling out that application, we went on to AcMoore. We then went to the Old Teahouse to get something to drink on the way to the mall, when I saw the coolest thing in the world. A silver car, with a HUGE Autobot symbol on the back windshield!!!! I have acutally seen this car before a couple years ago, but I was so happy to see it again. I almost was upset because I didn't have a camera with me. Until I remembered that my cell phone had a camera in it. So, there I was, standing there taking pictures of the car, the windshield, and license plate that read "TRNSFRMR", while contemplating the fact that I am a definate geek by doing that. ;)

Once I send the pictures from my phone to the computer I'll put them up, to prove that I saw it. ;)

Moving on, Amy and I went to Hot Topic, and I applied there. One of the questions was confusing, because it asked what age bracket I was in, and the only two choices were "Over 18" and "Under 18" Well, that was stupid, considering I WAS 18, so I just put "over" even though the people there probably think I'm like 14 or something.

Afterwards, we came to my house, had ice cream, and I took her home. Wee...

Well, I better go get ready, because the season finale of Law and Order is on tonight, and it sounds so intense! (In the previews, Detective Green gets shot! NOOO!) :-0

Honey, I'm hooooome!

I returned from my trip yesterday evening. We traveled for about 22 hours yesterday, and I'm still pretty zonked out today. Once I am fully awake, and have no homework to do, I'll write one long post about my journeys in Scotland. :) Yay.

To make this post longer than it is now, I'll report the fact that I actually found a tea that I like. Ross took me to K&K's Old Teahouse, and I had Watermelon Green Tea. It tasted more like a Snapple, which is probably why I liked it, but it was tea, and good.

Yeah.
